The beauty of engineering
A partnership between equals: when Studio F. A. Porsche and Poggenpohl collaborate on a new kitchen range, the result can be as impressive as it is revolutionary. Innovative design and precision engineering combine to create a kitchen with unique and lasting appeal. Form and function merge into a kitchen that expresses its purpose with drama, clarity and grace.
Defining the frame
The distinctive feature of the P´7340 is the aluminium frame. Strong, simple and linear, its modularity is almost infinitely adaptable. Unlike the typical built-in kitchen, the elements do not need to be aligned in columns but can be placed anywhere within the frame.
Handleless fronts emphasize the clean, unrestricted lines of the kitchen furniture. Alternatively, handles made of functional aluminium help to accentuate the horizontal lines of the kitchen. The assisted opening and closing drawers are operated automatically by touching or swiping your finger from a short distance. They close when gently pushed; a soft-close mechanism slows them down.
The inset door fits precisely into the hinged frame, which has a front edge finished in a slanted aluminium profile. A narrow shaded gap creates a distinctive feature that is repeated throughout the kitchen.
Materials and finishes
The unique look of the P'7340 with its aluminium-framed cabinets is defined by the high-quality materials and unique finishes. The metallic materials are sealed with an anodized coating in exclusive colour shades, while the wooden surfaces display their texture and grain.
